Cancellation policy

General terms 

echnique: Classic Fri 2nd April 2027 and skating Sat 3rd April 2027 

Distances: 70 km (Ylläsjärvi-Levi) and 55 km (Äkäslompolo-Levi) 

The entry fee includes: 

  • participation in the race,  
  • timing and result service,  
  • a self-printed diploma, 
  • a medal, 
  • service at the feeding stations,  
  • light lunch after the race,  
  • a shower possibility 
  • transport of the gear from the start to the finish 

It’s possible to buy the bus transportations when registering.  

By registering, I agree to comply with the rules of the competition, to be a fair sportsman and not to litter the environment. The organiser is not responsible for any accidents during or in connection with the race, nor for broken or lost equipment. The name of the participant will be published on the entry list and on the results.  

Registration for both days (Oneway Double)

a 20 % discount on the registration fee is available, in which case registration must be made in one single registration and the distances are the same for both days (70km + 70km OR 55km + 55km). It is possible to add a second distance later with a new registration, in which case no combined discount is available. When using the discount, transfers, changes and cancellations apply to the entire registration. If you are unsecure with Oneway Double, please make two separate registrations and handle those separately. 

Other discounts cannot be combined with Oneway Double discount. 

Cancellation and refund policy  

Registration is done online, and you will receive confirmation email. In this email there is a self-service link: “Link to your participation details”.

Changes to your registration (for example in the case of illness) 

Via the self-service link until 28.2.2027 you can free of charge: 

  • Transfer the right to participate to another skier  
  • Change the distance for the difference of the entry fee, the difference will not be refunded if exchanged for a shorter distance  
  • Change the skiing method (skiing day)  
  • Transfer your registration to 2028. NOTE! Only the registration can be transferred, not bus transportation. 

Transferred registrations: Your eligibility to participate will be carried over to next year, but you will need to confirm it separately (choose the distance and skiing technique). You will receive a separate email regarding this. You must confirm the transfer by October 3, 2027. 

Changes made after 28.2.2027 will be subject to a fee of 30€. In addition, when changing to a longer distance, the difference between the distances will be charged according to the price list of the transfer date. In case of illness, follow the rules above. 

If the Ylläs-Levi Hiihto is cancelled due to difficult snow conditions or any other reason beyond the control of the organiser (e.g. war, epidemic, natural disaster, order or recommendation from authorities), paid registration is fully transferred to the next year. 

If the route must be shortened due to difficult snow conditions or other reasons beyond the control of the organiser, the entry fee will not be refunded, and the competitor will not be entitled to a price reduction or any other compensation. 

All compensations and transfers are valid up to the following year’s Ylläs-Levi Hiihto. The compensation will not be valid after this period. Compensation is personal and cannot be transferred to another person.  

Registrations made with free entry vouchers (received i.e. from the partners or from volunteering) are valid only the same year, those cannot be transferred to 2028. 

Using sport benefits, the registration must be made latest four days prior to the race day. 

All changes to participation must be made by 4.4.2027.
